remote can't access local virtual machine

I have two machine A and B, they are in the same lan. A install XP, and B install ubuntu, and then i install a vmware of linux in A, i call it C.
Now, A can ping B, B can ping C, C can ping B, C can ping A, but A can't ping C. I search the google and stackoverflow, but did not found, how can i ping C from A?Thanks

Unless you have a "Bridged" network card configured on host A with Virtual client C
I don't know how else is everything working.

A and C is connected with "Bridge", A can ping C, but I want B can ping C, it doesn't work. Thanks your reply
