Question Recommand a web browser for Deviantart uploads

Back before I used linux I worked out a browsing system in Windows. I had two browsers that were used for different tasks.

Browser One ran with javacrap off and cookies off and it went though both privoxy and proxomtiron. Browser One was used for regular web browsing, without ads, without cookies, without popups.

Browser Two did not run though the proxies and it had all the javacrap and cookies and stuff turned on. I used this once in a while ... mostly for buying stuff on the web, posting on forums and uploading on deviantart.com.

In the above, Browswer One was K-meleon and Browser Two was Internet Explorer.

So now I am in linux and I have A similar system: firefox as Browser One and konqueror as Browser Two.

The problem is that there have been recent changes in deviantart. konqueror is now unable to upload to deviantart. Having gone though all the trouble of setting firefox to use privoxy and have java*crap and all that other stuff turned off, I don't want to turn it all on and then off again just to upload a picture.

Can please someone recommend a third browser (not firefox, not konqueror) that they have sucessfully used to upload a something to deviantart? Thank you.

You CAN configure Firefox to act as your Browser A and Browser B. Customize Firefox how you want for Browser A, exit, then create a new profile by typing in a console 'firefox -ProfileManager'. Create a new profile as Browser B, and exit.

Create two icons, one for each type of browsing, and make the first icon's executable 'firefox -P <name of 1st profile>'
Make the second icon's executable 'firefox -P <name of 2nd profile>'

Sam

Samstar, that is an interesting alternative. I will give it a try. If I can get it to work, it will be so much easier than rebooting into windows just to upload stuff. Thank you.
