Pulseaudio keeps loosing HDMI sound

Every time i go to use my system the HDMI sound has gone.

I using debian buster with KDE Plasma
Code:
Linux debian 4.19.0-6-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.19.67-2+deb10u2 (2019-11-11) x86_64 GNU/Linux
When I check the sound settings, the HDMI output has disappeared. I need to open terminal and run pulseaudio -k to get it working again.
I tried setting autospawn = no in the client.conf for pulse audio, but this made no difference at all.

Any help appreciated as its driving me nuts....

HI

there is not enough info to see if its something specific to your hardware or to your configs.

can you show the line for your audio device for this command
Code:
lspci -vvv
mine as example
00:1f.3 Audio device: Intel Corporation Sunrise Point-H HD Audio (rev 31)
Subsystem: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd 100 Series/C230 Series Chipset Family HD Audio Controller
Control: I/O- Mem+ BusMaster+ SpecCycle- MemWINV- VGASnoop- ParErr- Stepping- SERR- FastB2B- DisINTx+
Status: Cap+ 66MHz- UDF- FastB2B- ParErr- DEVSEL=fast >TAbort- <TAbort- <MAbort- >SERR- <PERR- INTx-
Latency: 32, Cache Line Size: 64 bytes
Interrupt: pin A routed to IRQ 127
Region 0: Memory at ef120000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16K]
Region 4: Memory at ef100000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=64K]
Capabilities: <access denied>
Kernel driver in use: snd_hda_intel
Kernel modules: snd_hda_intel

then show the outputs for these

Code:
aplay -l
aplay -L
Next are you using system wide PA configs or home configs?
/etc/pulse or
~/.config/pulse depending on distro

Next are you using any /etc/modprobe.d config files to interact with Alsa?
