Problems with Numlock

I have a Logitech MX5000 wireless keyboard and mouse. I very much enjoy it and have come across a problem using it in Ubuntu 10.4 Lucid Lynx. There is no numlock key on the keyboard itself and I can't figure out how to enable in 10.4. The numlock worked automatically when I was running Ubuntu 9.10. I would like to be able to use the keypad again.
