Problem with 32 bit .wav files in K3B?

I run Ubuntu, The latest version doesn't have GRIP anymore (it ripped 16bit .wav). I now use sound-juicer which delivers 32 bit .wav but K3B seems to choke on them when I try to burn. If I convert to 16 bits (I use audacity). Everything works.
Is there support for 32 bit .wav in K3B? I can find no way of making juicer "dumb down".

BTW Brasero craps out too mumbling something about dao.

Why not download and build grip?

Thanks. I ended up doing just that ...compiling grip ... but still. Why was that necessary?

Much as I hate Mickeysoft every time there is an upgrade to Linux (I gave up on SUSE because of it) there is this kind of BS you have to go through rather than just USING it.
