Poster text missing

I've created a poster with scribus, saved as eps postscript file. When I open with evidence everthing seems ok.

Next I run poster command to get A1 piture as 8 A4 with:

poster -v -iA1 -mA4 -pA1 Desktop/Document-1-page1.eps >Desktop/new

It makes the new file, and is 8 pages. But when I print, everything prints ok but the text is missing from the poster. It will not preview in evidence either.
I don't know if it's related, but the same poster saved as a scribus file wouldn't load the text on my laptop. The error was text not found or supported, so I had to change to a different text.

Any ideas what is happening to the text?

There were no fonts you used on a computer you print.
When you print your PostScript or DVI files on another computer you should allways remember that fonts you use must be on both computers, becouse dvi and ps files save the names of the fonts, not the fonts themselves.

Thanks for that. I'll have to look at what fonts are installed.
