Plasma Workspace Add-On Installer sucks

I'm trying to see what wallpapers are available using the Plasma Workspace Add-On Installer. It is *exceedingly* frustrating. It loads a few thumbnails and waits until I move the slider. Then it freezes for a minute or two (not an exaggeration), a progress bar appears at the bottom, and I get to see a few more thumbnails. I don't get to see all of them before another freeze. I let it go while I ate dinner. It did nothing until I scrolled down again.

There is some good stuff there, but it's not worth the wait.

I just tried it and it seems to work ok. That said, it doesn't load them all. I just quickly brought the slider down to see what would happen. It says its loading more data, which only takes a couple of seconds, and then I have a bunch more to look at. Seems to work ok for me.

Like a great many web pages, it looks like it was designed to be delivered in many pieces. That works fine with a good connection, but not otherwise. One of my pet peeves is the incredible number of bits and pieces that get downloaded to display a single page. I depend on a satellite connection which has a quite significant latency.
