Permanently adding 'Date Modified' to file search results

I'm in Mint 17 Cinnamon, and I need to search for a file. I open the file manager, hit CTRL-F, type a search pattern, get a list of results. I want them sorted by creation date. This isn't done automatically, but it's easy to add with a right-click.

Question: how can I make it so 'Date Modified' is always present in the search results instead of me having to add it every time?

Note that if I just open the file manager, 'Date modified' is there. It's only after I search that it isn't present.
