Unhappy OpenGL Flicker on Intel GMA X3100

I have Compiz running on a laptop with an Intel GMA X3100 integrated video card. With compiz running any OpenGL apps I run have a terrible flicker. This goes away when I turn off compiz (select KWin as window manager). Any configuration recommendations? Anything else I should look at (besides changing video cards, I'm stuck with this crappy intel card)?

Help is appreciated - aTdHvAaNnKcSe

I've got the same problem. I would use XVideo, but that's evidently completely incompatible with Compiz.

Unhappy Me 3

Same card (onboard), Same flicker. Now fixed for video, but still present with all 3D openGL windows. Is this unique to these intel graphics cards?

intel graphics, compiz fusion
