only root can run startx
 

when i run startx in normal user , X can't be start .only root can do it ok !!who can help me ! thank you !

Go ahead and start X as root and log out of root session and into a user session. Check via administrative tasks to see if there is a way of adding the user to the X-window group through "users and groups".

Do you get any error messages when you run startx as a normal user? Also it helps if you put the Linux distribution you are uing in your LQ profile.
