no dyne system
I have been trying to boot the dynebolic live cd;
I get the following error: going into multi user mode. no dyne system has been found on any storage device. This is a fatal error, dynebolic cannot run unmount: /: Device busy This happens on a machine with SATA dvdrom drive and a sata hard drive. When I try on a system with PATA drives using the same disk dynebolic will load. Any thoughts anyone. |
It seems pretty clear to me. The Dynebolic system does not have a SATA DVD device driver.

I put a IDE (PATA) dirive in the machine and dynebolic booted up successfully; butit didnot recognize my Fedora partition (though it seemed to recognize the SATA dvd drive). So could theSAA hard drive somehow be tagged as a SCSI drive? |
