Question Need Hardware Benchmark Advice

I would like to benchmark a several PC hardware performance under SUSE10.2. Does anyone can give some advice on how can I perform the tests (in both syntetic and real-world test)?

there's not a lot of programs available under linux

you could try: hardinfo

I'm pretty sure there's one or 2 others but can't recall them, if your doing pure hw benchmarking and you've got windows ..........
