Nautilus freezes when I try to move files

Linux Zorin 12.3
MSI 890GXM-G65
Athlon II 3GHz Quad Core
4 GB RAM

I'm using the GUI and the move-to command. I can successful do a move once. On a second use of move-to, nautilus freezes. I have to quit Nautilus and open it again to get out of the freeze. This happens every time on the second use.

The only message I get is when I quit Nautilus a pop up says folder or file not responding. I then have to click Force Quit. Once I restart Nautilus I can again make one move before it freezes.

Try starting Nautilus from the command line. Maybe it will throw some useful error messages behind the scene.

Are you moving many files, or very large files?
