My ssd disk would unmount automatically each time I synchronize
hi,
I have a SSD disk connected to my laptop by type-c port, and I do synchronize between my laptop and this SSD by FreeFileSync.
every time this task would be broken for the SSD would unmount from the laptop automatically during the synchronization.
I have dmesg and got log that is from I begin the synchronization to the synchronization is broken for SSD unmount.
Who can help, thanks a lots.

hi hazel,
thanks for your advice. I have followed method in your link and switched my SSD to usb-storage driver successfully.
when I do synchronization: unmount does not occur but the data transfer speed goes down to zero after 50 seconds. and then my SSD becomes read only.

USB-C shouldn't have a power issue but maybe you used second hand cable or the quality of cable is poor?

I have try same cable and SSD on another old laptop which installed old version opensuse with gnome desktop, it works well.
my problem laptop and old laptop are all opensuse with gnome desktop, only the version is different.
