Mozilla starts automatically when X starts

I'm running RH 8.0 on an older maching- runs great with one exception- Mozilla automatically starts whenever I start X. Any ideas how to fix it would be appreciated. Thank in advance for your help- zadox

do you have mozilla open when you close x windows? because usually a snapshot will be taken so the programs you had open before will load when you reload xwindows.. if not there is probably a line in your .xinitrc executing mozilla; try editing it in ~/.xinitrc and see if mozilla is called.
