mount 2.21.2 will not mount. He thinks I am not giving him fs type.

Code:
root@server:/almacen/STORE1/Nonsoft/musica/stravinsky/sacre/pepe# mount -t auto sacre.iso /mnt -o loop
mount: block device /almacen/STORE1/Nonsoft/musica/stravinsky/sacre/pepe/sacre.iso is write-protected, mounting read-only
mount: you must specify the filesystem type
root@server:/almacen/STORE1/Nonsoft/musica/stravinsky/sacre/pepe#
Can somebody explain this behavior? The MD5 checksum is ok.

Is this an audio ISO? Audio disks do not have filesystem, thus cannot be mounted. They can be read directly, though.

Honestly, I do not know. It may be audio and it may be video. The file command only says it is data. However, I now see I inadvertently renamed one of the elememts of the path before the download (ktorrent) was completed, and perhaps that is the reason why mount complains.

By the way the file is nearly 4GB in size and it was almost complete when this happened. I must now begin again this long download!
