Most readable Computer Font for Xterm?
1 Attachment(s)
Hi Guys,
I have tried for xterm the following fonts (into .fonts) 256BYTES.ttf Bitwise.ttf CHECKBK0.ttf After fc-list, you can add it to xterm: xterm -fa "XXX" -fs 10 -bg black -fg green But however they do not look very much readable. Btw what about the one amiga pro (attached)? Which computer font would you advice with xterm? thanks and xterm rocks |
It may be that your terminal is set wrong for width and height.
I always liked the green on black. |

I use DejaVu Mono: it's the most legible font I know.

Adobe Source Code Pro. With Inconsolata a close second.

Please could you update your post with a quick-n-dirty screenshot to see how it might look. I pine and I am looking forward. Thank you in advance. |
You should have the DejaVu fonts installed in Debian, but you can see them here
http://dejavu-fonts.org/wiki/Main_Page Wikipedia shows the fonts that have been mentioned, too. |
Terminus or Liberation Mono.

the whole droid family has been my favorite recently - including monospace.
