missing print drivers in cups

I can't seem to get my print driver into the cups listing of drivers. I just upgraded to PCLOS-2007 and installed the latest Gutenprint drivers. When I did this with the earlier version of PCLOS the Gutenprint drivers showed up in the cups listing and worked fine. This time the only place the Gutenprint drivers show up is in Gimp which is good however I would like to be able to use the printer from other programs too. Does anyone know how to get the print drivers to work in cups? Or isn't it possible anymore?

Thanks for the website, is was intesting, however I can't find the Gutenprint drivers or PIXMA4200. It shows up in Gimp and works find there. If I could find it I could copy it or link it into the file for CUPS so CUPS would find it too. I go into the Gutenprint directory and it's empty. Gimp doesn't have any print drivers in it. Yet Gimp now see and uses PIXMA4200. I did a search of the whole computer, hidden files and all. Now what can I do?
