Smile Minimalist desktop like OpenBox ... but with "Present Windows" effect?

I'm about to install some Linux distro on my workstation in later this month, and now I want to dive into some more minimalist desktop, with a lot of terminal windows and less GUI. And I liked "OpenBox".

BUT ... I love sssoooooo much the "Present Windows" effect on KDE. It is very similar to pressing "Win" key on Gnome3.

(Here is a screenshot on the web for the KDE version: http://i.imgur.com/b2XTZNq.jpg ...)

So ... is there such DE or WM out there, that combines minimalism and this funky effect? ...

PS: I know that I can run Gnome3 or KDE4, and just open a lot of terminals ... ... but they have fat borders around the windows, use more resources ... and they are just not minimalist(ic).

Openbox and minimalism with kwin effects I think is imposible.

---------- Post added 03-04-15 at 04:54 PM ----------

Well Openbox is a manager so effects like KDE is not easy , but you can use window effects - compton or others.

Hum try to take a look o GobangOS have openbox and by default comes with effects on windows is very similar as Crunchbang but with more customs -
http://gobangos.sourceforge.net/

In other way you have multiple choices like - http://sourceforge.net/projects/dwmx/

Kwin or compiz effects on Openbox I think is impossible.

Smile Skippy-XD looks to be the solution ... :)

Well, skippy looks to be what I'm looking for. I tried it already at work, in a CrunchBang in VirtualBox, and it looks exactly what I want.

About tiling window manager - a few years ago I tried pure Debian with Awesome, but it started to crash after a while. So ... I'm a little bit cautious about them.

(Furthermore - my workstation has 2 monitors, so I want desktop-not-too-hard-to-configure-on-2-monitors ...)
