It comes up every time in a konsole window when I use Adept Manager. What can I do to right whatever is wrong.

Konsole/Adept manager message

This happens when I open Adept Manager in the menu. First a window saying I must use sudo or become root then I click on 'ok' that window goes to be replaced by Konsole with that message. Right clicking on Adept Manager on the menu does not bring me into a command line situation so I can proceed as root. Konsole seems to be waiting for some kind of input from me but I know not what. I have tried several things which do not respond when 'enter' is pressed. The only way to download is to use apt-get in a new Konsole window. Glad you have seen this kind of thing before it gives me hope that it is me doing something that is wrong - as usual!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adept_Package_Manager check this out. if you are using kde it will be mostlikley intergrated with kpackage manger it should be intergrated into it. if gnome
then synaptics. or synaptics on either one depending on your distro
