Mail notifications with evolution (on gnome)
Hi,
I only receive email notifications when evolution is running (with an opened window on my desktop).
I do have the "Mail Notification" plugin enabled.
Is there a way to have evolution check for mail from time to time and notify me when one arrives?

Hi Ninguém,
What version are you running and which Distro?
I'm on version 3.46.3-1 on Debian Testing and it works fine for me.
If you go into Edit-> Preferences-> Plug-ins: Is there a mail notification plug in? If not, does your distro have it available for Download??

Sorry for the delay. AFK.
Debian bookworm, version 3.46.3-1 as well.
The mail notification plugin is enabled and correctly configured, as far as I can tell.

Okay, so if you go into Edit-> Preferences->Plugins->Mail Notification->Configuration and also Accounts everything in there is set as you want correct?
The only other place I can think of is either Gnome Tweaks or Settings for the Desktop.
If all else fails there's this mailing list you can ask: evolution-users@lists.osuosl.org

Sorry that one is pretty helpful and other that the bottom post rule (reply at the bottom of the email so it's a legitimate thread of info) I actually like it.

Thank you all.
