LXDE pcMANfm wallpaper desktop icons not cooperating

I just added LXDE for a DE/wm (which ever one it is classified as) and I am wondering is their an actual way to get pcmanfm to deal with the desktop shortcuts/icons in showing them without contoling the wallpaper. I have my own wallpaper program to cycle my wallpapers, but pcman is setting its wallpaper a layer above mine.

I've already tried modifying the pcmanconf

Code:

[*]
#wallpaper_mode=stretch
#wallpaper_common=1
#wallpapers_configured=1
#wallpaper0=/home/userx/Pictures/transparent_Image-lxde.jpg
#wallpaper=/home/userx/Pictures/transparent_Image-lxde.jpg
#desktop_bg=#fff00f
#desktop_fg=#ffaabb
#desktop_shadow=#000000
#desktop_font=Sans 12
show_wm_menu=0
sort=mtime;ascending;
show_documents=0
show_trash=1
show_mounts=1

this does not work, it sets a black wallpaper in the way instead.

there is no way to change this.
i suggest using idesk instead.
