[SOLVED] LXDE: How to change the color in the panel applet "digital clock"?

Hello everyone

I use lubuntu with the LXDE Panel (0.9.3). Here I show the digital clock as a panel applet. Unfortunately it shows the font in gray color, which is a pity, because my Desktop background is middle gray (50%) also. So I can't read the time nor the date.

Is there a way to change to font color of the "digital clock" panel applet?

lxpanel follows the GTK theme, but can be made to use a few custom settings.
so the answer is:

lxpanel preferences: right-click on panel, select panel settings or panel preferences and see what you can change.
and/or change the gtk theme with lxappearance
