loud burst of sound when closing windows in gnome ( Fedora 12 AND SuSE 11.2 )
 
whenever i close a window that is playing audio the sound makes one final loud burst. It is very loud and would be extremelly horrible to have happen with ear phones on.

Why is this happening?
