lost panel open window indicators

Lately I noticed that my open windows in Linux Mint Mate 14 are not shown in the panel and when minimized there is no way to restore them. How do I get the open windows to show in the panel?

right click the panel, then go to properies --> add panel items --> add open window indicators.
the terms are most probably wrong but i think you'll find it ;-)

Thanx ondoho
I rt clickd panel - selectd add to panel - choose window list or window selector or both [I chose both and they both display in panel] and open windows and or menu shows to the right side of panel but it did not restore the way it was working before it stopped working. They were displaying from the left to right but now they are displayed right to left. Wish I cuud do command line more easily it may be an app that got corrupted. Haven't closed and restarted Firefox so don't know if it will stay useable. If it works on future boots I'll come back and mark solved. Wonder how it was lost?
Looks like Mint14 iz not going to be supported after several months so time to upgrade any way. Sure git the feeling I'm being cracked... cheers %;]SW

do not panic, you can move the panel items around to where you want them, and maybe the "window list" or "window selector" item has its own settings dialog where you can adjust in what order the buttons are displayed.
no command line needed here ;-)
