Linux Mint 17.1 manual username login

I am running Linux Mint 17.1 cinnamon and I have joined it to a domain using pbis. Everything it working as expected as far as logging in and authenticating to AD, however on the login screen all of the AD users are listed. I would like to manually type in the username.

I've not dealt with any Linux in a domain environment, but maybe this will help:

Search string: "not display user names linux mint login"

Side notes. Not sure I'd use mint for an AD environment.

The pages at http://www.beyondtrust.com/Content/p..._Guide_8-1.pdf seem to suggest you connect the computer as an AD object and create local users on system to match AD users (groups)

Not sure where you are seeing this login issue.

Seems you can join by command line too.
