I had this few years ago with KDE, the menubar Id like to see back.. would it be possible on kde or any other DE? or maybe kde only, today?
are they any feedbacks on it?

You don't provide a lot of detail as to what you are trying to accomplish, but it should be possible. You can install and use whatever DE/WM you want and configure it to you liking. You don't have to remove the default DE/WM to do that.

On my Ubuntu MATE machine over there --------> I've installed both Plasma and Fluxbox in addition to the default of MATE. Normally, I use Fluxbox configured up to my liking, but I occasionally switch to one of the others just for grins and giggles. If you look in your repos, you will likely find other DE/WM environments available.

What DE/WM are you currently using?
