I have a few endnotes that I want to include under the text in documents, but LO insists on putting them on the next page, which is irritating. Most of these are 4 pages long, =2 pages printed both sides, so I don't want an extra page wasted for end notes.
This question has been asked on LO, and the way to do it is to make the document a 'section' and then configure footnotes/endnotes to go at the end of text. That doesn't work here. Am I missing something? I'm on Slackware64-current & LO-6.0.5

What is irritating is that I managed it in previous versions. I had some tweak that worked, but I can't reproduce it now

Grrr.

Posting here seems to be the key to finding a wheeze.

1. copy/Paste all end notes somewhere
2. Format/Section & remopve all sections
3. Hit Ctrl_A to select the whole document
4. Insert/Section & Footnotes/Endnotes
5. Vlick on inserting end notes beneath text
