LAN/Wi-Fi not working

I work on a dual boot system with Windows 7 and RHEL 6.2

Windows 7 works perfectly fine but I needed RHEL to work upon. I installed it, but its not detecting LAN or WLAN.
For a moment when I start it, it searches for LAN showing both uplink and downlink lights green. But later it shows LAN disconnected.

I fed the Proxy settings and everything, but still problem persists.
Tried reinstalling 'network manager' packages and Drivers but none worked.

Another problem is Login screen's resolution is too big.

Any idea of correcting 'em both?

You don't tell us anything about your hardware, so there's little we can tell you. What desktop GUI environment are you using?

You're using Red Hat Enterprise...have you contacted Red Hat support, since you're paying for it with your RHEL subscription? If you're NOT paying for RHEL, and this is a new installation, download and install CentOS instead. It's 99.x% identical to RHEL, but free. If you don't, you WILL NOT get patches/updates/security fixes, and your whole system will be unstable.
