Kylix

Hi!
Does anyone know where i can find Kylix for download?

avallach 02-01-2007 05:56 AM

It should be on Borland websites, but I don't believe it will work on your system, because there weren't any new version for years.
Think of using Lazarus instead

Kylix

Thank's Avallach!
But, on Borland websites download of Kylix don't exist more!
I have ask already.

I agree with avallach, I haven't seen Kylix in years - Borland got out of the Compiler market.
Stupid decision - almost sent them broke. Along with their other stupid decisions, of course.
They had a great product, and a great business model, and they got too greedy.
You might find a copy of the free version with a Kylix Book in a second hand shop. I have everything from Turbo Pascal to Dephi 2 (and Kylix), so you can imagine how pissed off I was when it all went down the drain.

kylix has been discontinued and Borland no longer provides downloads. Unless your running Red Hat Linux 7.2, SUSE Linux 7.3 or Mandrake Linux 8.2 it will take some patching to get it running with newer distributions. So basically it isn't going to work. As suggested try Lazarus.

Thank's syg00, mchaelk!
I try Lazarus and it works fine.
It's also pascal and that is fine.
