Kopete still working for ICQ?

As laid down here I am having problems connecting to ICQ using Kopete. The version installed is 0.11.1. Has anybody else faced a similar situation? Is there a remedy?

P.S. The problem first occurred during the past week. Prior to that ICQ worked perfectly.

Not sure if you're having the same problem as here:

Try firing kopete in an xterm and see if you have the same messages.

I'm using Debian and have exactly the same problem

Tried compiling with the patch, doesn't help. Perhaps you can try your luck

I'm using 0.12.2 and Kopete's working fine with ICQ.
