Knoppix 5 Live DVD doesn't Install

Dear Friends,
I've Knoppix 5.0 Live DVD and was very much impressed by it and wanted to install it to hard-disk but when I issue a command from the shell "sudo knoppix-installer" (without quotes) then it says configaration not ready the minimum requirement is 10GB and 512mb swap (approx.) and Qtpart starts where as I already have 18gb ext3 and 1gb swap but it says requirements not met and it doesn't proceed. Now what should I do? (In any condition I want to install Knoppix 5 on HDD)

IGNORE_CHECK=1 sudo knoppix-installer

Knoppix is a great LiveCD, I keep a copy in my toolkit; but it was never designed or intended to be used as an installed distro. Look through the Knoppix forum at the various problems that can occur when using it as such.

If you like Knoppix you might want to give Kanotix a try or just use the Debian Etch netinstaller.

Thanks but Kanotix doesn't have the DVD version and I don't think CD has all the software included and I don't have Internet on the sys where I wann to install Knoppix so I cannot update it. Debian had corrupted my system once so I don't wann to Debian to give a try more over Debian is not easy for newbie and it didn't appear GUI. I had Debain sarge 3.1 RC1 freely distributed by a computer magazine. (Debians sorry). I've ordered Mandriva 2007, Fedora Core 6, Ubuntu and will try them after I receive them. One problem is I have to keep perfect with windows becaz I have some tasks which only windows Applications can only fulfill.
