Kmail won't download messages from myself

I'm useing Kmail with my G-mail account and I have a small problem, if I send a message to myself Kmail won't download it for some reason (or its a problem with Gmail)

How do I fix this?

I have the same problem when I use my Comcast web mail to send mail. Kmail only downloads messages from the Comcast inbox. My solution is to log on to Comcast web mail and move the messages from the Sent folder to the Inbox folder.

No thats not it, they are messages from me in my inbox, I get them if I post to a mailing list or if I send myself a little note.
