KDE4: Remove panel from just one virtual desktop

I want to remove the panel from just one virtual desktop, in KDE4 on Kubuntu Lucid. (Because I run Windows XP in a VM full-screen on said desktop). How can I do this?

Try System Settings => Desktop => Multiple Desktops, tick Different activity for each desktop. That might do it.

I tried that before, it failed, deleting the panel deleted it from every desktop. Was rather annoying having to manually remake it.

I don't know of a way to remove the panel from just one desktop, but if you're trying to maximize screen space then you might want to try the "Windows Can Cover" option, it won't remove the panel, but it allows your windows to cover it so your full-screen XP will take up the entire screen, hiding the panel.

The option is listed along with the Auto-hide options and Panel alignment settings etc.

Hope this helps!
