KDE will never stop to surprise me

Hi,
It is a history: when I tried to watch avi file with Dragon player it went blank and nothing happened. When accidentally I run a slide show application in a folder which contains that avi file (and some others picures) - the program (for slides show) started to display that avi file - and must say in an exceptional good quality - fast rendering without frame drops. So my advice: do you want to watch movie? Run slide show. I think only KDE developers understand what's going on. Greetings.
PS. You know I have really nt very good computer. Laptop with Intel Centrino 1,4 GHz, 512 MB RAM, Intel 82..GM card, so watching movies in a fullscreen mode on a 19" display in a really good quality is not I am used to.

Which "slide show application"?

I am not sure KDE 4.4.x or KDE 4.5.x - which slide show? Now I cannot tell you - I don't remember. Now I am not using KDE 4.x.x. There are two possibilities: 1) this slide show program is a base KDE 4.4.x application or it is a program shipped with Slackware 13.1.
