Hello,
In a previous thread (
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...-3.5.8-598666/) I was helped to solve a compiling problem with kdebase. The solution applied then do not apply this time and Google has not been of much help.
Problem is that after successfully configure the package and run make, the compile process ends like this
"...config.status: creating config.h
Good - your configure finished. Start make now
cd . && aclocal -I /usr/X11R7/share/aclocal
acinclude.m4:3699: the serial number must appear before any macro definition
acinclude.m4:3744: the serial number must appear before any macro definition
acinclude.m4:3789: the serial number must appear before any macro definition
/usr/share/aclocal/imlib.m4:9: warning: underquoted definition of AM_PATH_IMLIB
/usr/share/aclocal/imlib.m4:9: run info '(automake)Extending aclocal'
/usr/share/aclocal/imlib.m4:9: or see
http://sources.redhat.com/automake/a...ending-aclocal
cd . && /bin/sh /sources/kde-i18n-es-3.5.8/missing --run automake-1.10 --foreign
cd . && perl ../scripts/admin/am_edit -p../scripts/admin
Can't open perl script "../scripts/admin/am_edit": No such file or directory
make: *** [Makefile.in] Error 1"
Google got a similar case for someone in Taiwan with version 3.5.7 but there was no apparent solution (not registered).
Regarding Perl, I could not find any scripts/admin folder in my system neither a reference to such one in Google.
Has anyone had a problem like this one? Any idea how to solve this?
Thanks,
Alonso
