KDE Desktop Sharing (krfb) and screen saver

Having issues with KDE 3.5.4-5 and krfb.

I can connect using VNCViewer from my WinXP machine at home to this remote machine with no problems.

The problem that I'm having is with the screen saver. I've got the screen saver set to come on after 5 minutes of inactivity, and when I'm at that machine, it seems like it works fine. When I connect remotely, the screen saver kicks on after like 3 seconds of inactivity. It makes working remotely completely implausible.

Is this a known issue? Is there any way (other than disabling the screen saver) to keep this from coming on so quickly?

Thanks,

theKapn
