KDE 3.5 does not load programs after rebooting!

In the past (slackware 11), KDE always reloaded the programs that were not closed before rebooting.

Now (slackware 12.0, kernel 2.6) kde starts, but no programs load (that were active before rebooting).

Any ideas to fix this? Probably it's just a setting...

You need to enable session saving or something close to that..it means that when you log out, KDE remembers what programs you had running and so on, and loads them when you return.

EDIT: when you open KDE menu -> Control center -> KDE components -> Session control, you'll have what you wanted. The menu names may not be exactly those, since I had to translate them (not using english KDE right now), but you'll find them there. Hope it helps!

Although this option was already enabled, I had to click on it again and click on "apply". It worked after rebooting!
