international keyboard layout in Xfce4

How do I get Xfce4 to remember the international keyboard layout (GB) when I reboot my machine into Xfce4 ? I always have to enter kxkb in a console to get the GB keymap loaded which can be quite a pain to remember to do that all the time.

Any suggestions/thoughts?
