Installing Mozilla thru Add/Remove Programs

Hello,

Greetings.
I use RHEL4 WS edition. I did a default install of OS. Hence it did not install the Mozilla Web Browser and I wanted to install the same [ for having Gecko Runtime Environment support ].
I could install the browser thru RPMs. However, I don't want to do in that fashion.
Instead, I would like to use the Add/Remove Application for installing the Mozilla Web Browser.
I have tried updating the "Graphics & Text-Based Internet" packages. No Luck. Mozilla Browser does not get installed.
Could anyone help me here.?

TIA,
Regards
Vran

Answer to installing Mozilla thru Add/Remove applications in RHEL4

Hello,

Found the answer myself.
Steps to do the same.
01. System Settings -> Add / Remove Application
02. Go to "Deployment" Section under "Add/Remove Packages" Screen.
03. Select to install "GNOME Software Development" package.
(All the 30 packages).

04. Update it. When prompts for CD, insert the appropriate RHEL4 CD.
05. Mozilla is installed.

Hope this would be of help to anybody.

Regards
Vran

The Mozilla browser hasn't been developed for some time now. SeaMonkey is a much more up to date browser, which is complete with all the latest security fixes.
