Installing KDE...

Suppose I just installed Suse 10.1 with the Gnome desktop. What would be the best way of going about installing the KDE desktop to ensure full functionality? Is there a way to add components from the install DVD without using YAST to be sure I have everything I need, such as re-running the install and just doing an update or installing additional components?
