Angry installing Fedora 19 on windows 8 partition

I am currently running windows 8. I plan to install fedora 19. I am hoping I can dual boot fedora and windows 8. My question is this my hard drive is currently partitioned with a C: drive for windows its a 149 gb drive with 101 free gb , the other partition is a D: drive for data with 764 gb free. Will anaconda allow me to partition 600gb for windows 8 and 400gb for fedora? Will anaconda know how to rewrite the current partition? will the c: partition and d: partition cause partition problems? Should I shrink d: and extend c: and install Fedora on d:

Yes.

You will need to resize one of the partitions (if you aren't using D:\ or don't have much on it, that would be the logical candidate), then you can create a new partition and format it to receive Fedora. It would be a good idea to backup any crucial data first, just to be cautious.

You will need to tell Anaconda what you want it to do.

This article from Fedora might help: http://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/...setup-x86.html
