Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

I'm using fedora 10, firefox 3.0.5. After loading web sites with flash contents, the firefox ask for "Install missing plug-in". Even after I successfully installed the flash player, and restarted the firefox, it continues to ask the same. Re-installing flash player failed saying "...already installed". Creating link of libflashplayer.so to ~/.mozilla/plugins didn't solve the problem.
Distribution: On my PC I use RHEL, at office AIX, Solaris, HP-UX, RHEL.

You might have installed an older or incompitable version of flash-plug-in for Firefox. I installed it successfully on my RHEL 5 system.
Just search for a compatible version of flash-plug-in for Firefox. You should download an RPM from sourceforge.net

I installed plug-in after firefox automatically redirected me to download page of adobe flash plugin. I tried installing rpm and yumm. If fact, the flash player is already installed, but firefox is not detecting it.
