iceweasel freezes viewing some youtube videos.
Distribution: Debian (Wheezy)
iceweasel version: 10.0.10 desktop: KDE 4.7.4 computer: Acer Aspire 7715z RAM: 3 GB swap: on (although never used) I would like to ask whether this problem can be solved and how? Answers like 'switch to another desktop, distribution or browser' will be ignored as this is not the intention of this thread. |
flash videos or html5?
Have you tried the current release 16.0.2 rather than the ESR version? 32bit or 64bit system? using flash installed how? flashplugin-nonfree, flashplayer-mozilla, directly from Adobe, Gnash, etc? what kernel? No problems here on sid with 16.0.2, flashplayer-mozilla, kernel 3.5, 32bit, on this ancient Thinkpad. |
1) Adobe Flash 11.2.202.251
2) I installed iceweasel using apt-get (from the Debian respositories). 3) 3.2.0-2-amd64 4) flashplayer-mozilla: Installed: 3:11.2.202.251-dmo1 5) 64 bit |
