Smile I Can't Install Package For Wine :-#


I PUT THE PACKAGE IN ROOT/DOCUMENTS/WINE-0.9.27.TAR.BZ2 I WANTED TO PUT IT IN JUST BY CLICKING ON IT I TRIED THE LOADER BUT IT DID NOT WORK. (QUICK START)SAID JUST TYPE ./TOOLS/WINEINSTALL WHERE IN RUN COMMAND OR OPEN TERMINAL. IT TOOK EIGHT MOUNTHS JUST TO GET MEPIS ON A HD I EVEN TOOK IT TO COMPUTER STORE. I HAD TO FIGURE IT OUT. HOW TO PUT IT IN AND WHAT TO USE TO OPEN IT.

1. your distribution
2. KDE gnome or other

so i don't think anyone can help yet

other than hit ALT+CTRL+F1

login as root
apt-get wine

should automatically install wine for you

As much as i'd like to help you, you're story is quite .. unclear and all the capslocking is really unnessacary.

A questions though:

Have you unpacked the file ? if not do: tar yxvf file.tar.bz2

Then CD into the created map.

There's probably a file in there named ; INSTALL .. Open it and read it.. It'll give further details.

Do this from the Terminal!
