I've got this artefact on my screen. Any idea on how to remove it?

Hello guys,

I've got what I would call an "artefact" on my screen that won't go away (bottom right). It's slowing everything down. I've got so many tasks running that I can't afford to reboot right now. It probably appears after some application crashed. I can't remember which one.
Any idea how to solve this problem?

Did you try to kill the task?

Have you tried using the system monitor tool to kill the task running in the background?

Well, I used "top" and "ps ax" but I can't seem to see what's causing this... :/

Case closed. I found which app was causing the problem and force-killed it :) Cheers !

probably xkill could have been used in your case, but too late to check it. Just in case you need it again....

And please mark the thread solved...
