how to upgrade the grub for dual boot

Hi all,

I have RHEL-4(sda3) installed on machine, then i installed windows on it(sda1).So i was unable to boot linux, then i booted with boot disk(linux) in rescue mode and executed the commands

$chroot /mnt/sysimage
$grub-install /dev/sda

Then rebooted hoping that grub will be able to show the boot menu with both windows and linux, but it is showing only linux.

Please guide me how do i upgrade the grub to show the option to boot both.

[naveen@LocalHost ~]$ /sbin/fdisk -l

Disk /dev/sda: 81.9 GB, 81964302336 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 9964 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1 * 1 1306 10490413+ 7 HPFS/NTFS
/dev/sda2 1307 1319 104422+ 83 Linux

Try adding this to the configuration (/boot/grub/grub.conf if I am right):

# Windows
title Windows
root (hd0,0)
chainloader +1
If that doesn't work:

# Windows Alternate
title Windows2
rootnoverify (hd0,0)
chainloader +1
Change the '(hd0,0)' as needed. Right now, it is set to the first partition of the hard drive, usually hda0.
