How to Stretch window across multiple workspaces?

I used Linux Mint 11 to do music editing and the program i used had alot of windows inside of it so i stretched the window across 4 work spaces and it was great (No room for multiple monitors and dont like them).

Recently upgraded to Linux Mint 12 and seems the new workspaces dont do that anymore with gnome3,cinnamon or KDE that i can figure out.

So the question would be how would i go about stretching a window across multiple workspaces in these new enviroments. Doesnt matter which one as long as one works.

You probably still have that option with the new system if you use the same DE as you had before the options are probably in a different spot.

Well i started using Linux Mint KDE (First time on KDE amazing!) but i cant seem to find an option for that anywhere. Seems KDE uses 2 rows and 2 column setup for the workspaces. Im pretty much a linux noob but not a computer noob so im ready to learn

I believe is possible to remove to columns and have just a row. Or maybe it is just the way KDE put it in the taskbar, i dont use it so i cant realy say which is the case. But if you dig in the desktop options under kcontrol panel or something like that i bet it is there.

Regards

you can make the workspaces use one row by right clicking the little icon and selecting pager properties or what ever it is.
