how to make open office auto correct to french languages

I use open office 2.0 in mepis 6.0 .. i tried to activied auto correct support to french languages.. but i could not.. only english language.. please help..

1. Did you install the international language support in Mepis?
Is everything on your screen 'en francais' or english?

2. The language dictionaries for Open Office are shown when you try
to change?

everything on my screen in english...i am only install the mepis linux, no thing else..
i am only want make auto correct in french... and i like that everything on my screen in english..
