how to make my laptop completely linux based

i installed dual os linux n windows. i should hide the windows and whenever req i should unhide. at booting time linux is dominating windows but in other option windows os is also visible. i should hide that. how?

I don't fully understand quite what your wanting to do. Are you wanting to keep your Linux/Windows dual boot but hide the Windows entry from your boot menu or just automatically log in to linux straight away? If so which Linux distribution are you using?

yes u r right linux 6.2 i installed. i m getting disturbance with coleagues. due to that i should hide all gui n unhide whenever required. how to do tht n wht r commands syntaxes.

When you say "Linux 6.2," do you mean RHEL 6.2?

If so, you could edit your GRUB to remark out the Windows section with a # at the beginning of each line, then remove the edits when you need to.

Off the top of your head, I suspect that your colleagues are just giving you a hard time because they can.

i am effectively working now. one more help
i am using vmware workstation 8.0 in windows in that i added 3 linux users, can i add windows original os in that as another user n how to connect the each user. through scp command only i am exchanging the data now. linux do not accepting my reliance datacard. how to solve this issue. i should use linux as like windows all features. n should avoid the windows.
